In the heart of the Luberon, this 195 m² Provençal house, owned by a writer, underwent a complete renovation conceived as a contemporary reinterpretation of a characterful home.

The project focused on restructuring the volumes and harmonising the spaces, while preserving the architectural identity of the house.

The existing layout, in particular, featured limited ceiling heights, creating a sense of confinement. A structural intervention, including the partial raising of the roof and the replacement of joinery, brought in more natural light and restored a greater sense of openness throughout.

Original elements, such as exposed beams and natural stone walls, were carefully preserved and enhanced.

The house now features a bespoke kitchen that is both elegant and functional, as well as a warm living room centred around a contemporary fireplace insert. The bedrooms, bright and soothing, provide an ideal setting for rest, while the fully renovated bathrooms combine comfort with high-end finishes.

Every detail has been executed with precision, in a constant pursuit of balance between intimacy, comfort, and aesthetics.
